Do More 24 – Help Out Today | News Release | Volunteer Alexandria

On June 4, 2015, Volunteer Alexandria will join the United Way of the National Capital Area and other area nonprofits for Do More 24. Do More 24™ is a local movement that brings together nonprofit organizations, companies, and people committed to making a difference. Through focused online giving on June 4, 2015, Do More 24 provides the opportunity for people to create solutions to our region’s most difficult social challenges by determining which issues matter most to them and channeling their funding towards tackling those problems.

By donating to Volunteer Alexandria, you are helping connect Connor (7 years old) and his family to the annual coat distribution at Charles Houston. Valerie, a students taking a gap year before college, gain new experiences in horticulture and arts. Betty, a senior looking to use her lifetime of experiences, stay involved and active in the community.
