Hunger Action Month

Market Events – Community Gleaning Day for #HungerActionMonth
September is Hunger Action Month and the Old Town Farmers’ Market is taking action to fight hunger in our community by holding our first annual Community Gleaning Day.  Buy some fruit, vegetables, or bread at the market this Saturday and donate it at our Community Gleaning Day booth in front of the stage from 8 am to 12 pm.  We’ll distribute the donated food to organizations that feed our at-risk community in Alexandria. Together, we can solve hunger!
