Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities Seeks Public Input on Braddock Neighborhood Park Plan Concepts

The City of Alexandria Departments of Recreation, Parks& Cultural Activities and Planning and Zoning are seeking online public input to inform planning for the one-acre Braddock Neighborhood Park within the Braddock Metro Area Plan. www.engage.alexandriava.gov

The community is encouraged to provide feedback on the 3 concept design options for the future 1-acre Braddock Neighborhood Park. On September 29, the Braddock Implementation Advisory Group and community received a presentation on the three design options from the consultant firm, Andropogon. The presentation, along with additional information about the park planning process and guiding principle for design, can be found on the Braddock Metro Neighborhood Plan Implementation project site: http://www.alexandriava.gov/Braddock

Comments received by 5:00 pm, October 23, 2015 will inform Andropogon’s development of a preferred alternative concept, which will be presented to the community in December 2015.
