A Happy Halloween at the Shelter

Last week, Carpenter’s transformed into a trick-or-treating paradise for the kids currently living in the shelter. The Del Ray Business Association provided each child with a costume and members from Fairlington United Methodist Churchwalked around the shelter with the kids to knock on staff and residents’ doors for some sweet treats.

We would not be able to have festive events like trick-or-treating at the shelter without the support from you! We cannot say thank you enough to our volunteers, community partners and those who donated candy. You helped
make the Halloween celebration a memorable event for Carpenter’s kids!
