Join us for a conversation with leading writer and essayist Guy Sorman, publisher of France-Amérique, to discuss how France is dealing with the aftermath of the tragic November attacks. Are civil liberties at risk? How have the attacks and their aftermath impacted French society and conversations surrounding laïcité, integration of immigrant populations, and the critical refugee crisis throughout Europe? How have the attacks changed the course of French foreign policy, and its actions as a member of the EU?

The lecture will be held on Friday, January 29th, at 7:00 pm at the Lyceum, 201 South Washington Street, in Alexandria, VA.

A $5 donation is requested at the door. RSVP online at guysorman.eventbrite.com

Wine and dessert reception to follow.
