Home for Good

“Let’s go home.” It’s a phrase many of us say multiple times a day. For the residents at Carpenter’s Shelter, a permanent place to call home is a dream. Make this dream a reality for three more people by joining us in our Home for Good campaign!

In July 2015, we opened our first on-site Permanent Supportive Housing unit. The unit provides the current tenant, Thomas (hear his story by clicking the image below), with a permanent place to call home. Our goal is to open three more units as quickly as possible to provide those who struggle from multiple barriers to housing including mental illness, substance abuse and physical disabilities, with a semi-independent living arrangement and supportive services. The private units will be fully furnished. That’s where you come in. By donating to Home for Good and helping us raise $4,000, you are giving three homeless individuals a place to call home.
