On February 23, 2016 the City Council approved a resolution to establish an Ad Hoc North Potomac Yard Advisory Group to provide guidance on potential updates to the North Potomac Yard Small Area Plan. With that action, the City is now calling for applications for the Advisory Group seats. Application forms, information about the Advisory Group and the proposed planning process can be found on the project webpage. Please note that all applications are due to the Department of Planning and Zoning by Monday March 14, 2016 at 5:00p.m.
The City anticipates convening the Advisory Group in April 2016, and holding monthly meetings over the course of the 12-14 month planning process. The Advisory Group will serve as the community engagement forum to review the potential updates and provide guidance to staff. All activities and meetings by the Advisory Group will be public.
