The City of Alexandria was awarded a grant from the Federal Transit Authority (FTA) to make pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements to improve access to transit. The intersection of King Street, at Callahan Drive and Russell Road was identified as a priority location for these improvements. The City is asking  for input on this project to get a better understanding of what types of improvements the community would like to see. Public meetings were held on January 15, 2015 and June 23, 2015 to solicit feedback from the community about this intersection. We would like to extend that opportunity to those unable to attend the public meetings  The Community is invited to provide feedback on the intersection by visiting AlexEngage, the City’s online engagement forum.

Comments received by Sunday, April 10, will inform the design of this intersection.
