The community is invited to provide input on the proposed “common elements” for the Waterfront implementation plan by visiting AlexEngage, the City’s online engagement forum, at www.alexandriava.gov/Engage .

Common elements are the standard materials, fixtures, elements, and applications that unify the design and appearance of the Waterfront and establish it within the context of Old Town. The design guidelines for the common elements are divided into three categories: paving, lighting, and art and history.

Sample materials and informational boards are on display in the Vola Lawson Lobby of City Hall located at 301 King St. The AlexEngage forum will be open for input through May 31.

For more information on this project, please contact Tony Gammon at 703.746.4155 or anthony.gammon@alexandriava.gov , or visit the Waterfront Plan Implementation webpage at www.alexandriava.gov/Waterfront .
