Port City Brewing Company Wins RAMMY | Fireman Mike | Old Town Post 

Port City Brewing Company, of Alexandria, Virginia, has won another award.  Port City brews have garnered many awards since their opening in January 2011. They have quickly established themselves as one of the leading small craft brewers in the Country. In 2015, Port City was named best small brewing company of the year at the elite Great American Beer Festival. This year the best small craft brewery took home the 2016 RAMMY for best Regional Food and Beverage Producer of the Year.

Regional Food and Beverage Producer of the Year: This nominee is a food or beverage artisan who creates a product that is then utilized by chefs and restaurants. Nominees in this category may be cheese makers, coffee roasters, vintners, brewers, distillers, bread bakers, chocolatiers, honey producers, farmers, an ice cream/gelato company and many more. The nominee must have been in business a minimum of one year by December 1, 2015.
