Del Ray Community Banning Together to Help Al’s Steak House | Fireman Mike | Old Town Post

On July 14, 2016, Holy Cow, at 2312 Mount Vernon Avenue, will be hosting an Als’ Steak House Pop Up Fundraiser. Holy Cow, along with the rest of the Del Ray Business community, is banning together to come to the aid of Al’S Steak House.

The Breeding family purchased Al’s after being long time devoted customers.  The Breeding family spent several months refurbishing Al’s to get it ready for a grand reopening. A three alarm fire closed Al’s on their grand reopening day, Wednesday, July 6, 2016.

The Holy Cow hosted community event will take place from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m..  Al’s menu will be featured that evening and will be prepared by Del Ray chefs under the supervision of Bo Severnson.   Holy Cow’s menu will not be available for this special event.

100% of the sales will go to the Breeding family to help in the rebuilding and reopening of the Del Ray institution known as Al’s steak house.

This is an awesome story of people helping people.  Holy Cow has created a FaceBook Event and you may click on the link for updates and further information.  Stop by Thursday evening for some undoubtedly great food as well as contributing to help bring Al’s back.
