I sat at the bar, which is par for the course, and chatted with Casie. Casie is a cute 20 something bartender, with long brunette hair, who just moved into the area from New York. She handed me the menu and I checked it out.
My initial take of the menu was that the food descriptions looked very appetizing. The only drawback was that the menu offerings were a little pricey. But, this is Old Town and I guess the prices are comparable to other restaurants.
Casie said her favorite thing on the menu was the Mango-Spinach Salad. I might have to try that next time.
Casie said her favorite drink on the menu was the “King Street” which is made with rum, strawberry syrup, lime juice and mint. The “King Street” sounds like a strawberry mojito. Casie stated all of Vola’s syrups are made in house which adds to the uniqueness of their drinks.
The Happy Hour menu looks good and is reasonably priced. I assured Casie that I’d be back for a couple happy hour brews.
Took a few photos of the menu and happy hour list (click on photo to enlarge):
