14th Annual Alexandria King Street Art Festival | Fireman Mike | Old Town Post


Artisans from around the globe will be showcasing their talents this weekend in art booths lining historic King Street.  King Street will be closed from Union to Washington in Old Town, Alexandria.  Art enthusiasts can find unique jewelry, sculptures, paintings, woodcraft, and stunning photos.

The festival spans two days and is open on Saturday, September 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, September 18th from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  A lot of festival goers come early so that they can have the first pick of the incredible art that is being offered for sale.

The Art League will again be featuring their popular Ice Cream bowl fundraiser.  One of a kind ceramic bowls filled with local ice cream will be available for purchase for $15.

The Torpedo Factory on N. Union Street will also be open and featuring their artists work for sale in their inside studios.
