Spotlight on Shamali Hummus
Shamali Hummus makes a delicious, thick hummus in four different flavors based on a 50-year old family recipe.  With carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower back at market for the fall, Shamali hummus makes the perfect crudités finisher!  Find Shamali Hummus in space 112.  Learn more about Shamali Hummus on their website here.

Bike for good

Volunteer at Bike for Good food rescue this Saturday!
Join us for our last bicycle food rescue on October 29!  We will be transporting fresh, locally grown food donated by our generous vendors using bicycles to area locations serving low-income and at-risk Alexandria residents on October 29th.  Food rescue events are the last Saturday of the month from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm.  Sign up at Volunteer Alexandria (type in “Bike for Good” in the Keyword Search) or email BikeforGood@alexandriava.gov for more information.  Come join the fun!
