Here are news releases from the City of Alexandria regarding robberies and police activity since last Wednesday, 23 November 2016 (emphasis added by OTP):


NOTIFICATION: Robbery Investigation (23 November 2016)

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a robbery in the 1100 block of Wythe Street. A suspect stole a phone from the victims hand. There were no injuries. Expect police activity in the area.


NOTIFICATION: Robbery Investigation (24 November 2016)

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a report of a robbery at Oronoco and N. Union Street. Three suspects displayed a firearm and stole items from a victim. Expect police activity in the area.


NOTIFICATION: Robbery Investigation (26 November 2016)

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a robbery in the 5300 block of Duke Street. Three teenage suspects stole wine from three victims. A weapon was implied and there were no injuries. Expect police activity in the area.


NOTIFICATION: Robbery Investigation (27 November 2016)

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a robbery in the 1200 block of Madison Street. A suspect brandished firearm at a victim selling a phone, then stole the phone. Expect police activity in the area.
