Screen Shot 2017-04-17 at 3.09.26 PMThe Lyceum, Alexandria’s History Museum, is now accepting registrations for a three-day camp for children ages 5 through 7. Clio’s Kids Mini-Camp engages children in American history and life in historic Alexandria through artifacts, storytelling, singing, crafts, old-fashioned games, and visits to nearby historic places. Clio’s Kids runs from Tuesday, July 18, through Thursday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Our theme this year is “Time Travelers.” We’ll go back in time, exploring aspects of daily life in the twentieth, nineteenth, and eighteenth centuries in Alexandria each day of camp. Camp includes a visit to Alexandria Archaeology where we plan to participate in their campers’ Lab Day.

Camp will be held at The Lyceum, 201 South Washington Street. The cost is $105, which includes snacks and souvenirs, and advance registration is required.

To register or to learn more, call 703.746.4994 or visit www.alexandriava.gov/Lyceum.

The City of Alexandria is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended. To request a reasonable accommodation, e-mail lyceum@alexandriava.gov or call 703.746.4554 or Virginia Relay 711.
