We’re Miles and Jennifer. We live in our townhouse in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Our boat Nautical Jiles is moored just a few blocks away at the foot of King Street.
We appreciate life’s finer things. Luxury travel. Nice meals out. Having friends over for dinner. Drinks on our Sea Ray. Picking crabs on the docks. Boating on the Potomac. Cruising the Riviera. Shopping in London (and the Galleria in Tysons Corner). Old Town Post is our way of including you our experiences. And hopefully inspire you to have some adventures of your own!
Little bit about Jenjen . . .
Most kids skipped school and went to the mall. I skipped school and went to Chanel. My undergraduate degree is in European History and my master’s degree is in Humanities. I love entertaining! Selecting flowers, menus, guests, and a venue is a thrill. What do you do with that kinda background, you ask? You start a luxury lifestyle, travel, and entertaining blog.

Little bit about Miles . . .
After a successful 35 year career with the Federal Government Miles decided to retire — and we are so happy he did! Before beginning his career Miles went to Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and earned his degree in Political Science — he’s super fun to watch debates with! He enjoys reading the Washington Post everyday wherever we are in the world. And his superpower is getting our pictures up on Facebook before the last person at the table is done ordering. He loves luxury shopping — if they’re no comfy chair and champagne, he’s not interested. He enjoys fine dining, fine wine, and a good ol’ American Bud Light on the boat!
